The “Value Creation Card Game/New Business Creation Experience Program” is an experiential business training program jointly developed by Wilson Learning and Project Design Inc. Participants are divided into fictional corporate teams to compete in creating new businesses and increasing their asset value.
We introduce an innovative talent development program where participants can learn essential perspectives and methodologies for business creation, as well as the most important mindset of “continuing to challenge value creation,” through intense communication during a half-day session.
Based on these mindsets, participants take on a “management perspective” that is often not experienced in daily work. By deepening communication and experiencing the flow of new business creation, from “planning” to “conceptualization” to “realization,” the team can share the mindset and behavior traits needed to be successful challengers.
It is a fact that most people assigned to new business divisions have never created a new business before. Even highly skilled members within a company may often find the world of new business unfamiliar.
This program incorporates real-life new business creation examples based on the latest business trends, such as ESG and AI, into the game’s scenarios, allowing players to simulate various new business patterns.

Our organization conducts training programs with the aim of deepening the ties between Japan and the oil-producing countries and serving as a bridge for mutual prosperity. As part of this, we conducted this program in English for future executive candidates of each national companies.
Each team was made up of members from various countries, and they experienced value creation and co-creation relationship building based on WILL.
They were originally aware of their own WILL, but the idea of having the entire organization support and accompany "individual WILL" seemed to be new and important to them. It was impressive to see them seriously discussing "innovation enablement."
Experiencing business challenges in the safe environment of a “game” brings various effects to team members that are not achieved through ordinary training.
With remote work becoming common, communication within companies often stalls, and organizational cohesion suffers. This game emphasizes "collaboration" and "communication," where teamwork and even cooperation with competitors are essential. Participants will rediscover the importance of team building and collaboration across different departments and roles.
Leadership for business creation differs from managing existing businesses, especially in that it focuses more on “supporting challenges” rather than “management.” Each team in this game must have a manager role, allowing participants to experience leadership from both the challenger and supporter perspectives.
A significant portion of time in this game is dedicated to reflection sessions at the end. Participants analyze and evaluate their choices and actions during the game, identifying the factors behind their success or failure in value creation. This leads to important insights into the "reasons hindering innovation" within their own companies.
Many companies that experience slow growth fail to leverage the unique ideas and visions of their employees, missing out on opportunities for change. One unique feature of this game is the inclusion of “WILL cards.” Based on the WILL card each participant receives, they set their own “aspirations” and “visions” and work towards realizing them.
